I said I was going to write about one of the series I have started on and when I span the roulette it ended on Sex and the city. I have only started and I am probably not going to finish it or the finishing part depends on the television channel. I have lost some episodes already but that does not really matter, do it?
Well in Denmark at December time every year the television shows ALL THE EPISODES of this special sex filled girly series. It is about Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her girl friends, living the sweet life in New York, having a lot of sex with strangers and trying to find the true love. Every episode, just like Greys anatomy, have a special philosophical message about relationship and life, sometimes the messages are better than other times. The series is basically soft porno with a side story about love. I wonder why there are not more men watching this series, but maybe that is just society dictating what men shall and shall not watch.
I find the show pretty interesting and inspirational, that may sound cheese because I just called it porno, but whenever I see an episode I find several subjects I want to write about. I am just forgetting the topics right after when the new topics gets to my mind, there is just so many good things to write about. Another good thing that to get from this show is that it give a deep and clear perspective on what women feel, think and their logic. I think there have been made episodes about nearly every problem from the 90's that could happen in a relationship, from the women's point of view. The show could be used as an encyclopaedia for dating women, it would be a little outdated, but many problems would still be the same.
To the people who love Barney from How I Met Your Mother, I can only say that he is the male version of Carrie Bradshaw's friend Samantha Jones. They both have weird relationship and life rules, they both pick up new sexual partners all the time and they both have a really expensive life style and a pretty vulgar mind. If it had come to the scriptwriters minds, they could easily have written it to be that Barney Stinson was Samantha Jones' son from one of her many encounters with next to unknown men, the stories could easily fit.
Oh and last thing, I know that Sarah Jessica Parker have a really long face but are you that shallow to hate on her for that? Yeah the horse jokes where fun, for some, for a short time, but please when hating find a real reason next time and do not reuse the same jokes over and over and over and over again for the millionth of time be original.
