As you may have noticed from my blog post about the Oscar show I have a fondness for female clothing as I think they make women you look beautiful. Well I say I like female clothing, it means I dabble in designing it and I like to watch a red carpet and how everyday people wear it. I do not follow what the latest trends are and I am not up to date on the current fashion, for me it is more for fun. Clothes are great because of the way people can express themselves in their everyday life. Because how clothes can make you feel and because clothes make you beautiful, cool or even elegant. I find female clothing more interesting than male clothing because it is more diverse and expressing and there is a possibility for a new design to every situation.
The great thing about designing clothes is how you can play around and take the best parts from your favourite outfits and put them back together in new ways. You can put your own personal touch on everything and got a lot of ways to experiment. You do not have to draw and design something new, it can be as simple as combining your old clothes in a new way. And even if you shared it or sold it, it would never be completely the same as you had it, because the new wearers would put their own touch in it.
I would like to share some of my drawings with you and just to mention it, I am not that good at drawing (sorry for the pictures being sideways) and the pictures is damn annoying to move around hehe.
First I have some pages for different situation, some casual attire and some cocktail dresses.

Then I have some different wedding dresses, standard, hobo and one that is a little more, let us call it flirtatious.
Lastly I have made a design that is all about customisability and accessorizing. It is supposed to be a dress where you can clip on different patterns, accessories. For example a big bowtie on the back or vines up the side or maybe even wings on the back. As marked on the dress is the places where it should be possible to clip on different objects.
