Beauty and The Beast - Movie Review

The 2017 live action Beauty and The Beast movie is the most perfect version of the story ever made since the original story was written. There are very few details that I found was possible to nitpick and even what I found possible seemed just too nitpicky to mention. So this version is the most perfect version to watch, not saying that there will not be other good versions in the future, it can still be adapted in many different styles and interpretation, but you can never make it more perfect.
So now that I have used way too many words on saying how perfect it is, I will proceed to why. Firstly it is no secret that I am crushing on Emma Watson in a very big way and spending two hours falling more in love with Emma is never a bad way to spend my time. It is like Belle was a roll written for Emma Watson, like Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont foresaw Emma Watson, when she wrote the original version back in 1756. If you thought Emma was a great cast for Hermione Granger, Emma was born for Belle.
But not only was Emma a perfect cast, so was the rest of the crew. Dan Stevens got me to fall in love with The Beast like the Disney movie never could and when he sings Evermore, my heart breaks. He carries the feeling of loving someone so much that only their happiness can ever bring you happiness so well. And Luke Evans when he sings Gaston's song even I crushed on Gaston. I could not imagine another person as Gaston. And Josh Gad, Evan McGregor, Ian McKellen and so on and so on, they where all great.
And we can go on to the scenography of the movie, unlike most modern movies, it did not go green screen on all of the background. The big castle was actually build in full size and the shots where made in it. If you watch the movie in IMax or whatever it is called you are able to see more of the castle than you can in the normal theatre formats.
My heart and soul feels so much better for experiencing this movie in all its glory. So watch it, there is no if in this matter. I give it six out of five stars, it breaks my scale and it is unfair to adjust every other movie just because of this.
