Iron Fist - Series Review

The fourth Defender have arrived in his origin series. Danny Rand also known as the superhero Iron Fist have finally gotten to Netflix. It is a story about a young boy losing his parents in a plane crash and spending fifteen years of his life training with a group of monks in a magical monastery where he is chosen to inherit the power of the Iron Fist. It starts with Danny Rand returning to his old life and trying to get his name, his life and his world back. When Danny reclaims his life in his fathers old firm he learns that it is infested by an evil organisation called The Hand, a group he is destined to eradicate from the world as he is the Iron Fist.
The first season of the series feels like a classic superhero origin story, it have many great powers, magic and epicness. Something I feel the Luke Cage season one were missing. A few of the series special effects could have been smoothed out a bit more. But it shows great possibilities for future seasons and for the series The Defenders.
It could also have used a bit more connectivity to the other series. They casually mention Daredevil and Luke Cage now and then and Claire Temple is sort of connecting the heroes for being in all the series. But they do not mention Jessica Jones and the stories just generally lack connectivity to each other.
Between the four heroes I personally find Iron Fist to be the third best story beating Luke Cage. I think Jessica Jones is the best series and Daredevil as the second best.
