Star Wars the Last Jedi - Movie Review

Rey have sought out Luke for training in the force. The first order is in the heels of the rebels and Kylo is getting stronger for everyday. That is how Star Wars the Force Awakens finishes and how Star Wars the Last Jedi starts. In an attempt to avoid spoiling, I will only say that the plot of the movie is building on hubris as an ongoing theme. The plot was good and unexpected with many good twists. I had one idea of a plot point that would happen during this movie and I was wrong.
It was one of my greatest cinematic experiences. The movie was beautiful, especially one scene where they turn of the sound. Those of you who have seen it will know the scene. The cinematic effects and digital animations are in top. I am very fond of the addition to the biological wildlife as I am a firm believer that any good space travelling scifi should have exciting alien races.
It was a fantastic movie and if I could I would definitely see it for the first time again. I am not a hardcore Star Wars fan, so when I say this could be my favourite Star Wars movie it may not count as much. But as always I do a have a few pointers. General Hux feels like an overacted character. There are a few too many cheap laughs, I have always thought of Star Wars as a serious franchise and the cheap laughs feel out of place. And Snoke's comment about the force can be a failure on the level of mentioning midi-clorians. Snoke says that as Kylo's power grew, so would his counterpart's power on the light side grow, as if the force is always in balance. But if the force is always in balance, how could Anakin ever have been the one to bring balance to the force. I may overanalyse, but I fear that this could have been a mistake to put in the movie.
I will full out give this movie five out of five stars, knowing that some of you may not see eye to eye on this.
