Avengers: Endgame - Movie Review

As Infinity War ended half of the universe had been wiped out and where now non-existing. Not dead, that would mean their souls had travelled to some kind of spirit-realm. They were just gone from existence. Now the survivors of the snap has to live and get on with their lives. Iron-man and Nebula is stuck in space, the others are down on earth searching for all the survivors and Captain Marvel has arrived to help. Everyone is in deep distress with no way to get back what they lost.
From second one it is a deeply emotional movie constantly swinging between grief and sorrow to loving wholesomeness and back again constantly with some fun moments in-between. I dropped a tear more than once and I have hard to tears. So that talks well for how emotional it is. Where Infinity War left me sad, heartbroken and full of questions. Endgame leaves me with a melancholy satisfaction but I feel content and save with the story.
The story is really well written, I was a little on the fence with the plot as it evolved. I have an earlier post that explains my view on such a plot point. But this movie is doing it way better than expected and may be what is needed to adjust the plot norm for that type of movie.
This would make more sense if I did not have to censure possible spoilers.
But the situation is that they doing this plot point right, for the most parts. There are a few small details that still needs to be corrected in this sort of plot. But they are minor details that is not fully disclosed with the rules and physic and therefore is not making dumb illogical conclusions.
Sound and animation are smooth and grand giving amazing battles. It is really beautiful and captivating to watch with many important details. Even when using material from earlier movies.
Endgame is so good that I fear it will have a negative impact on the future superhero movies. Infinity War raised the bar and now Endgame raised it even further. Any future movie will possible break their necks trying to achieve this quality level which would then be the downfall. This is also the end of a very long story arch and though more movies are in the making, this is a point of no return. Will the next phase be able to continue with the same quality and with an equally good story arch.
I would give it six stars but the scale I use goes to five stars. So I give it five out of five stars and I will re-evaluate any future reviews.
