Love, Guaranteed - Movie Review

Nick Evans has for the last two years been on a thousand dates with not success, now he wants to sue the dating app creators because they guaranteed he would find love. Nick teams up with the local do-good lawyer Susan Whitaker. But while working on the case both Susan and Nick starts getting feeling for one another.

It is a cute romantic movie that is easy to watch. A classic and straight forward romantic movie in a new modern setting. It gives you exactly what you expect from the movie without being the flat Hallmark holiday romance. We get the two lovely lonely people who have a weird and unflattering meet cute. They do not like each other at first but really fall in love when they spend time together. But something gets in their way testing their love for each other until the end where one of them finally speaks up with a grand gesture. The movie is not special and does not have any big dramatic moments and it does not have the deep emotional teary moments either. It is just plain and simply cute.

All in all both story, acting, execution and cinematography is okay. There is nothing wrong, it is nice and pleasant but it is also not exceptional in any way. It is just a cosy little movie you can watch alone, with friends, with family or with your romantic partners. I give it three and a half out of five stars. It is a perfectly adequate movie to watch.
