So today I got my edition of the game "Skylanders: giants" and I have
played for eight consecutive hours. to start it simple the story is
about the evil Kaos trying to take over the world of Skyland. like he
tried in the first game where he got exiled to the earth somewhere in
Africa. you should as a portal master summon your own skylanders to the world of Skyland to try saving it from Kaos.
The new skylander game is very similar to the first. same gameplay, same weak enemies and easy puzzles. but having said that. this new game is a great improvement of the last. there have been added a lot of extra content, mini games, new and funny challenges and some great new puzzles.
where the first game did not bring any challenge for a pro gamer and it was easy to see it was made for kids. this new game. have better designs, gives more freedom to the player and it have multiple difficulties with an extra nightmare difficulty when the game is finished. this game where made just as much for everybody els than it was for kids.
so if you liked the first you should definitely play this. if you have not played the first you can easily skip it and start on this one.
the only real downside with this game is how expensive it is. you only get 3 figurines with the starting pack and to get the most out of it you should at lest buy one of element. if you have bought a lot of figurines for the first game. they are series 1 figurines. they can be used in the new game. but they have made it so you need to have series 2 figurines to get all the bonuses.
this is a picture of all my figurines. it is a big collection but it is still not complete. and I have some doublets. my 2 favorite figures are "Hex" and "Boomer". Hex is a undead witch with long ranged abilities and a shield. Boomer is a goblin who throw bombs. he have a high damage and can lay a track of bombs behind him to prevent followers.
