Vigils Fall - D&D story

Vigils Fall is the first book of this dungeon and dragons story made by my team and I (I'm Quinsel). There are currently 17 chapters and only 1 chapters left until it is time to edit it all. I have been writing on this for the last 7 years and I have improved a lot since I started, therefore the quality of the writing is inconsistent and I hope you can bare with me for now. -- Prologue -- Six years ago Livinia was at the height of its golden age. It was a great time where the economy and the culture flourished. The military was mighty and production was going strong. There was a zeitgeist in this era of nationalism and unity, one that had not been felt for centuries. It was a belief that Livinia could once again become a glorious Kingdom on a scale not seen since the Kingdom of Old Arcana. To the east the mighty Ydrian Empire, ruled by the dragonborns, wished to unite the land of Old Arcana under their banner. The Empire had conquered Kingdom after Kingdom with...

Alone For Christmas - Christmas Story 2019

Rrrrriiiiiiiiiinnngg rrrrrrriiiiiiiiiinnnngggg The doorbell finally sounds. Stacy has waited all day to hear the sound of the doorbell ringing. Ever since she got a text from Dereck this morning stating he has something important to tell her. They have been dating for five years and this might finally be him wanting to take it to the next level. She opens the door wearing her best black cocktail dress. Important things like this deserve to be celebrated. But there on the other side of the door is Dereck standing in his plain old dirty work clothes. He does not look like he plans on taking her somewhere special for this important thing. Dereck steps in over the doorstep and gives her a deep passionate kiss before Stacy can get the chance to say anything “oh my beautiful darling, my love. You are like a Christmas angel” he says kissing her down the side of her neck and slowly trying to lead her to her bedroom. “Oh Dereck please” she tries to slow him down “you said yo...

The Cheshire - Halloween Story 2017

”Have you seen this video of the man disappearing” “What video?” “Here, look at this. See how the man just disappears” “Is it real?” “Well I don’t think anyone has manipulated the video, but I don’t believe that he actually disappears. He probably just walks into a blind spot” “Play it again… Wait stop it there, I think I saw something” “What’d you see?” “If you go a bit back… Look, there is some kind of flash or glare right there” “What, I didn’t see anything” “Let me… Right. Here. There is some kind of flash there” “Where?” “Right above the man’s eye, right here” “You are right, there is some kind of glare” “Try find some more videos of people disappearing” “Easy enough, there are tons of them. Here is one” “There is also a glare in this one” “Yeah, this is weird, what could it be? Here is a third one” “Another glare, maybe they are fake or something” “I think it is a coincident” “Tommy and Benja...

Anastasia Against Krampus - Christmas Story 2021

Hi, I'm Twumble and welcome to today’s class. Today I will tell you the story of how Anastasia Belov moved to the Nice list. It was New York and there were two weeks till Christmas. My job was to look after the Naughty children and help them on their way to be nice. I had just received a letter from the North Pole that Anastasia was moving onto the Naughty list. If you have studied the rules for the Naughty list, you know that a child have to be overwhelmingly naughty before they move onto the list. So the first thing we do when a child moves onto the Naughty list is to check it twice to confirm whether the child really is naughty. Then we will observe them and plan a course of action on how to help them get back on the Nice list. So I used the tracking spell and found her skipping school. And this is where our story begins. Twumble spins his hands and a big magical circle starts moving. It zooms in on New York and a tween girl with black hair and black clothes, dragging a wood...

Newlywed Angels - Christmas Story 2018

“We have gathered here today to unite Daren and Micah in marriage. Those of us who know them may ask why it took them three hundred human years to get married. And others may ask why they are getting married at all? There is no legal or economical advantage for angels to get married. And we don’t bind marriage to some religious notion that, that is what a God wants. For us angels marriages are nothing more than a symbolic gesture for love and is there any better reason to get married than because we love each other. And Daren and Micah do love each other. They first met during work. They each had an assignment to find love for a human and their two humans found each other and now as a ritual they have to help another unfortunate soul. The rules are like always you have a week to help your human to be happier with their life but without any help from our angel database. Of course whether you succeed or not doesn’t affect your marriage but it is a nice gesture and other angels may ...
