Smite is a rather newly released MOBA game which have been free to play since March 25, 2014. Smite is a religion inspired MOBA game where the player use Gods from different cultures as their champion from a third person point of view. It looks and feels like any other MOBA game but the third person point of view actually makes it really hard to aim and you have no depth perspective. You move around like in a normal RPG and you even have an useless jump function, because you move like in a RPG, you also run backwards men hitting the "s" key, which give you the advantage of being able to shoot whilst running away, but it also slows you down a great deal. To turn around you have to make a swing with your mouse and for new players it is hard to orientate, whenever you try to run anywhere. The problem with orientating is easily solved by picking a ranged God over a close combat God, it often feels like the close combat Gods are half dead before they even get into combat.
On the plus side, this game have a lot of new great modes to try and they have lots of new
magic ideas, it needs a little balancing but all games needs that from time to time and especially when they are new. The game is lighter confusing to come around in the start, now I know how to play the different modes and and explore the different Gods, but there is still a lot there is missing, like I do not yet know why you can get "summoner" levels as there is no apparent use for it.
So I will give it a two till two and a half star, for now, but with possibility for much more.
