The Last of Us - Game Review

I know that this game have been out for about a year now, but it is first lately I have bought it. Actually I bought it a few days before the announced the remastered edition, which is just my luck. But just as well now that I have finished it and there is a remastered edition, I can try and promote it for those who is still indecisive.
When I started the game, I already hated the story writers after the first five minutes and that is because the writers is just that great. They now how to get to your feelings and toy with them, they have made a great story. And then the programmers and designers made the story to a great zombie apocalypse like games, with creatures that reminds you of zombies but is something a little different. These zombies are people infested with some kind of mushroom spore that grows in the brain, no radio activity, no black magic and no virus, just mushroom spores.
Well I was a little intimidated by this game at first and that is why it took me a year before I bought it. I have never been good at shooting games for consoles, because I am untrained in aiming with right analog stick and with it being a stealth game I felt sure I would die a lot and have a hard time. I was wrong, thus I felt the aiming ability was too slow, I still found it easy to master for a new comer.
The game in itself is not that long, it takes about one and a half day to complete on normal mode, but then they have made about six different difficulties, which I am not a fan of, I find it fine to make more difficulties but I would always rather have a longer game instead of having more difficulties. I am no fan of playing the same game over and over and over again just for a little increased difficulty, that is the reason I fell off the Diablo train because it became too monotonous, but if there were made some additions to the game or if there were different endings and choices through out the game I would have approved of it.
The trophies of the game are a little simple minded, about twelve of them is about completing the game on different difficulties and on the plus modes, the only plus about these trophies is that if you start with completing on hardest difficulties it also counts as you have completed it on every easier difficulty. The there are the obligatory collect everything trophies and that is about it.
It is a phenomenal game and I can truly understand why they want to remaster it. I will give it four out of five stars. It loses the last star on the difficulties and the trophies, try be more original. But the story is great, the game play is great and it have good humour and lastly I will claim that if where putted in same situation as in the end of the game I would have made same choice.
